The Cape Cod Writers Center Conference will again include a Young Writers Program in our annual conference, August 15-19,2011 for students from ages 12-18. Scholarships are also available for this program.
The 2011 Young Writers Program takes place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Barnstable Intermediate School in Hyannis.
This year’s faculty include three traditionally-published writers: Scott Reade Whinnem, author of Pricker Boy; James Morgan, poet and head of the Humanities Program at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Lynne Heitman, author of the Alex Shanahan mystery series.
