Tomorrow’s Writers Today on Saturday, May 18

by web editor on April 9, 2013

Tomorrow’s Writers Today provides students ages 12 through 18 with an opportunity to attend Saturday workshops with published authors and journalists who will oversee their work, share concepts and provide insights into the realities of professional writing, literature, journalism, sports writing and communications. Our March session as very successful.

Our next one is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Barnstable Intermediate School in Hyannis. Two prominent authors will work in a small-group setting with students interested in fiction and non-fiction. They are novelist and Cape Cod journalist Candy Hammond, who will teach fiction writing, and former Boston Globe columnist Susan Trausch, who will teach non-fiction writing.
