Executive Director Nancy Rubin Stuart is a journalist-author whose work has appeared in the New York Times, The New England Quarterly, and other national publications. She currently blogs for the Huffington Post. Among her award-winning books is The Muse of the Revolution, for which she appeared on C-Span’s Book TV, won the 2009 Historic Winslow House Award, and became a 2010 finalist in USA Books News National Best Book Awards. Beacon Press published Nancy’s latest book, Defiant Brides, in April 2013 and in paperback in 2014. Defiant Brides also became the subject of a second C-Span BookTV taping.

Business Manager Janet Gardner, former professor of English and director of the Honors Program at UMass Dartmouth, lives in Falmouth and brings her love of books and writing to the CCWC. She is the author of several textbooks on writing and literature, and her short fiction has appeared in literary magazines and anthologies including Vestal Review, Byline, Cape Cod Poetry Review, and Hint Fiction: An Anthology of Stories in 25 Words or Fewer.
