Executive Director Nancy Rubin Stuart is a journalist-author whose work has appeared in the New York Times, The New England Quarterly, the Huffington Post, American History and other national publications. The best-selling author of American Empress: The Life and Times of Marjorie Merriweather Post, Nancy’s other award-winning books include The Muse of the Revolution, for which she appeared on C-Span’s Book TV, won the 2009 Historic Winslow House Award, and became a 2010 finalist in USA Books News National Best Book Awards. Beacon Press published Nancy’s latest book, Defiant Brides, in April 2013 and in paperback in 2014. Defiant Brides also became the subject of a second C-Span BookTV taping. Business Manager Sara Kass has worked as an editor, administrator, and manager for various employers from data researchers to architectural designers. A graduate of Brandeis University’s Creative Writing program, she is an avid reader and writer of fiction and poetry.
