Tomorrow’s Writers Today

Mary Richmond with TWT studentsTomorrow’s Writers Today is a program designed to enhance the literary skills of Cape Cod students in grades 7-12. It provides young people an opportunity to attend workshops with published authors and journalists who oversee their work, share concepts, and provide insights into the realities of professional writing, literature, journalism, and communications.

Our most recent Tomorrow’s Writers Today workshop took place May 17, 2014 at Barnstable Intermediate School in Hyannis with two award-winning author/teachers. Novelist/journalist Candace Hammond taught fiction writing, while  journalist, editor, and college instructor James Kershner taught non-fiction writing.

Check back in the fall of 2014 for the dates and details of Tomorrow’s Writers Today for the 2014-15 school year.
