Tomorrow’s Writers Today

Mary Richmond with TWT studentsTomorrow’s Writers Today is a program designed to enhance the literary skills of Cape Cod students in grades 7-12. It provides young people an opportunity to attend workshops with published authors and journalists who oversee their work, share concepts, and provide insights into the realities of professional writing, literature, journalism, and communications.

The first Tomorrow’s Writers Today workshop for the 2014-15 school year will take place on November 8th at Barnstable Intermediate School in Hyannis, with two great author/teachers. Award-winning novelist Heidi Joh Schmidt will teach fiction writing, while  journalist and best-selling author Chip Bishop will teach non-fiction writing.
