Rick Cochran’s article on Camp Wellfleet in the 1950s will appear in the Summer Supplement of the Barnstable Patriot in mid-June. Rick is the author of the novel, Murder at Bound Brook: Cape Cod Mystery and two short story collections, Wellfleet Tales and Wellfleet Tales II: Confessions of a Wash-Ashore. Available on Amazon

Anita Caruso Author of Brayden’s Magical Journey Series will be selling and signing her children’s books at 7th Annual Hyannis Summer Arts & Craft Fair, Hyannis Village Green, Main Street,  Hyannis on July 21-22, 10 a.m – 6 p.m. and on Saturday July 14, Anita will be at The Enchanted Passage Children’s Bookstore and Enrichment Center, 145 Armsby Rd. Sutton , MA, 11 – 2 p.m.

Melanie P Merriman’s memoir Holding the Net: Caring for My Mother on the Tightrope of Aging won the 12th Annual National Indie Excellence Award in the caregiving category and was awarded a Bronze Medal by Independent Publisher Book Awards. On July 19, from 9 to 10 am, she will talk with Mindy Todd, host of the The Point, on WCAI, the NPR affiliate for the Cape and Islands.

Alyssa Metcalfe’s creative non-fiction piece entitled Epiphany at the Aztec was selected for publication by Dark Ink Magazine, which comes out the beginning of June.

Pat Mullaly will be on a guest panel at the Harvard Coop, Cambridge, on June 19 at 7 pm. Pat is a contributor to the just-released publication The Self-Employment Survival Guide by Jeanne Yocum.

Joyce A. Prince will be speaking about Barcelona, Spain, and her bilingual (Spanish/English) book The Running of the Bulls/El encierro at the Whelden Library, West Barnstable, on June 27 at 6:00 pm. Contact the library for details.

Lee Roscoe’s radio play, The Mooncusser’s Tale, was read at Cotuit Center for Arts in May. The play will be aired on WOMR FM in the future.
