 Hugh Blair-Smith’s essay “Connecting the Dots” will be published in Harvard’s 1957 Class Essay Book sometime in May. This essay is the foundation of his next book. He will also be presenting his slide show on Left Brains for the Right Stuff: Computers, Space, and History at the Dennis Public Library on June 1 at 6:30 PM.

 Rick Cochran’s article on Wellfleet’s historic Chequessett Inn will appear in the June issue of Cape Cod Life magazine.

Phineas Fiske’s screenplay “The Pysanky Connection” has been selected as a finalist in the screenwriting competition at the New Hope (PA) Film Festival.

C.L. Fornari’s latest book, The Cocktail Hour Garden, has won an Honorable Mention award in the Self Help/How To category from the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Joan Graham has joined Harwich Neighbors as contact coordinator. In her new role, she will write and edit this new magazine devoted to local people and events. The first issue of Harwich Neighbors will be mailed free to Harwich residents starting in June.  Joan also wrote the cover story about Yarmouth resident Guido Farina in the just-published annual guide Beyond 50.
