Membership
The Cape Cod Writers Center has over 400 members and welcomes newcomers. Anyone interested in writing — whether a published or an aspiring author– is welcome to join.
We offer three levels of annual membership: Basic is $60.00; Patron membership is $100.00; Student membership is $20.00.
Benefits of Annual Membership for All Writers:
Writer’s Groups: Writers meet on a regular basis to present their work and receive constructive feedback from colleagues as they work towards publication. For more details, please click on the Writer’s Groups button on the home page of this website.
- Pathways to Publication: High-powered one- day and weekend writing and publishing programs taught by prominent authors, editors and agent several times during the year .
- Writers Night Out: Discount to attend our gathering of members for dinner, networking and talks by publishing experts held in a local restaurant once a month.
- The opportunity to sell, your books in our summer conference bookstore.
- Waived registration fee at the summer conference.
- The chance to read your work before others as well as practice pitches at the summer conference.
- Early notification of literary activities on Cape and beyond . (Optional, for those who wish to receive e-mail blasts).
- Wavelength, the newsletter of the CCWC.
Patron membership is $100.00 annually, and as a benefit we will link your website to ours on the Patrons page.
We also offer student membership, for those ages 12 to 21. Check with the CCWC office at writers@capecodwriterscenter.org or (508) 420-0200 for more details. Grandparents and parents often purchase these memberships to encourage children who love to write.
