Thirty five writers turned out at the Cape Cod Cultural Center on Wednesday evening, September 21 to contribute ideas, thoughts and concerns at the Cape Cod Writers Center’s Annual Think Tank meeting.
After a welcome and introduction by Executive Director Nancy Rubin Stuart, the CCWC’s president, Barbara Struna described a variety of ideas and changes planned for the forthcoming year. Among them were cost-free meetings, a new website, and a call for more volunteer participation from our members.
Questions were raised from the floor and so were ideas from attendees in the service of empowering members and their works, increasing the CCWC’s outreach, and enhancing our programs. All in all it was a lively session resulting in the recruitment of a volunteers committed to making our organization more vital than ever!
With thanks to everyone as the CCWC looks to the future!
