On Saturday, October 25, take the next step on your writing journey.
Join your friends from the Cape Cod Writers Center for
“The Defining Moment”
A Workshop for Writers
The world is a certain way, and then something happens…and nothing’s ever exactly the same….
Important events can cause stress, joy, sadness, anger, or any combination of those emotions. They can also be powerful sources of creative inspiration. In the workshop “The Defining Moment,” led by poet, fiction writer, and teacher Charles Coe, participants will identify and discuss such moments in their lives, and in the world around them, and explore ways to use them in their own writing.
The workshop will take place 9:00 AM—12:00 PM October 25,
at the Resort and Conference Center, 35 Scudder Avenue, Hyannis.
The cost is $40 for CCWC Members and $45 for non-members.
Charles Coe has published two books of poetry, All Sins Forgiven: Poems for my Parents and Picnic on the Moon. His work has appeared in literary reviews and anthologies such as Poesis, The Mom Egg, Solstice Literary Review, and Urban Nature. His first novella Spin Cycles will be published by Gemma Media this month. Charles received a poetry fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and his poems have been set to music by several composers. Co-chair of the Boston Chapter of the National Writers Union, Charles was selected by the Associates of the Boston Public Library as a “Boston Literary Light for 2014.”
