Sheila Hurst has worked as a reporter and freelance writer with articles published in Cape Cod Life, Cape Cod Magazine, The Enterprise, and Boston newspapers. Her short stories have been Glimmer Train and Writer’s Digest finalists.
Her first novel, Ocean Echoes, is about a marine biologist who gives up on love to study jellyfish. Ocean Echoes recently received finalist awards in General Fiction and E-book categories from the Next Generation Indie Book Awards (NGIBA) program.
