These one day seminars in literary genres, publishing, editing, digital communications, and promotion are open to all CCWC members. They’re a great opportunity to learn, network, and improve your literary skills.
Spring into action for our 2017 Pathways to Publication Workshop on Saturday, April 1st at the Osterville Public Library, 43 Wianno Ave, Osterville, MA 02655.
There are two sessions; the first from 9:00 a.m. to noon on writing for Young Adults; the second is from 1:15-4:15 p.m. and addresses mystery and thriller writing.
We’re pleased to announce that the instructor for our morning session is Young Adult author and high school teacher, Mick Carlon, whose popular books on Louis Armstrong are in 50 school curriculums around the country.
Mystery and thriller writers are in for a big treat when they attend our afternoon session featuring best-selling, multiple Agatha Christie award-winner, mystery author and broadcaster, Hank Phillippi Ryan. During this workshop you’ll learn from a prominent expert about plotting, creating fascinating characters and enhancing suspense.
An announcement will be sent to CCWC members in late February for this program. However, if you wish to sign up now, please see the box below to register. Special discount for CCWC members if they register for both workshops.
