Middle School Promises
Lisa, turning 13, is not the happiest student in middle school, with a new dad and a B average. Can it get worse?
But in a case of mistaken identity, she is confused with another Lisa, a popular, straight A student. The music teacher insists they work together, and benefit from the unfortunate error. How can she survive a year of stress working with someone who intimidates her? To make matters worse, her parents decide to visit the new grandparents during holiday break. Her only peaceful place is orchestra, where all the problems magically fade behind the music.
