Using his current Work In Progress as an example, Paul will discuss plot structure, how to avoid story stagnation and share the advice editors have given him through the years.
Paul Kemprecos is the author of nine books in the Cape Cod-based Aristotle “Soc” Socarides private detective series. He also co-authored eight books with adventure writer Clive Cussler in the best-selling NUMA Files. His two adventure books featured former Navy SEAL and Woods Hole robotics engineer Matt Hawkins. Paul’s most recent book, Killing Icarus, uses the German glider flights on the Outer Cape as its historical backdrop. His short story The 6th Decoy was included in the Best American Mystery Stories for 2020.
During the meeting, members will have a chance to vote for the new Board of Directors.
