Did you know that Audio Books are one of the best ways to stimulate sales for your work?
And that one of the keys to a successful audio edition is a good narrator?
If you’d like to learn more you are invited to attend the
Cape Cod Writers Center’s Writers Night Out
on Zoom, Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00 pm.
In this workshop Nancy Bober will review the steps an author must take to produce an audiobook based upon her experiences as a professional narrator. Within it she will touch upon the importance of choosing and then communicating with a narrator. Nancy will also discuss various platform options, how to avoid pitfalls in audio production, how to protect your world rights and how production choices may influence sales.
Nancy Gaines Bober, marketed as NGB Voice and based on Cape Cod – has a mature, mellow, melodic, well-modulated voice suited to multiple genres. (Although she almost always avoids alliteration, a dry sense of humor insists on making itself known.) Her life experience in diverse fields such as professional cooking, animal care, sales and broadcasting reflects her passion for learning new things, while her years of volunteer work reading live broadcasts for the print impaired have helped her establish a strong skill base for narration and an instinctive feel for difficult subjects.
