Writers Night Out March 19, 2025 Secrets of Great Storytelling

Everyone loves a great story but it takes a lot of skill to create one.

If you’d like to learn how to write one you’re invited to attend

March 19, 2025 Writers Night Out

7:00 PM on Zoom

MEMBERS ONLY, PLEASE

As the great dramatist David Mamet said, storytelling is like jujitsu: master a few fundamental principles, and you cannot be defeated. By perfecting a handful of basic rules, you can become a powerful storyteller across any genre—whether writing novels, memoirs, or screenplays. These timeless rules, rooted in Aristotle’s teachings, guide you in evoking three key emotions in your audience at the three different stages of story: pity, fear, and catharsis—the very essence of storytelling itself.
