Congratulations to Kelly-Ann Charland who won the new Barbara E. Struna Membership Scholarship for 2025-2026.

Ms. Charland, an addiction recovery counselor, won the scholarship in a lottery open to those who attended the Sandwich Library writing workshop which was made possible by a donation from the Boucher Family Charitable Gift Fund.

We look forward to meeting Kelly-Ann at one of our meetings.

**Please note this scholarship is not the same as the two scholarships that we offer for those who want to attend the 2025 summer conference, July 31-August 3rd in Hyannis. If interested in applying for one of them, you can find information on this website or online when the conference brochure goes live on May 19th.

The Cape Cod Writers Center is proud to share the news that the Cape Cod Community Media Center has awarded our organization the 2024 Certificate of Excellence.

From its studio in Dennis Port, MA the nonprofit Cape Cod Community Media Center provides individuals, community groups and local business with training in television production, access to production equipment and facilities and a channel for cablecasting of the programming produced by the community.

The Writers Center is pleased with the award and proud that the Media Center has been televising our acclaimed author interview program, Books and the World for over 40 years.
