With appreciation to our faculty, staff and writers who helped make
the 2025 Cape Cod Writers Center Conference a success!

Below please find comments from the participants who answered our post-conference survey.

Sixty five percent (65%) rated the conference “Excellent” Thirty Five percent (35%) rated it “Good!”

It’s great that the format (the conference schedule) is a deep dive –3 days for many topics!

The Agent Panel was great and I got so much information.

Steve Manchester was very helpful and motivating. An excellent presenter!

Clara Silverstein was a peach and also knowledgeable in her field.

I enjoyed Javed Rezayee’s memoir class. He went above and beyond expectations.

Angie Chatman ..love the class, the instructor and the participants.

    Kayleigh Shoen was a delight.

Lauren Scovel was excellent both on the agent panel and in the query writing workshop.

Jeannette de Beauvoir’s was particularly helpful. Her “Writing the Mystery Novel” was extremely well presented.

Tim Horvath (Speculative Fiction) was fabulous, as was our group.

My instructor (Marilyn Atlas) was terrific–energetic, prepared, and full of useful information.

    The Cape Cod Writers Center
    Conference

    conferences in America.
    61st Conference – 2024

100% of those who answered the survey ranked the conference as good or excellent...
    *60 ranked it as excellent!

The classes – Magic Marketing and Poetry – were full of enthusiasm and stimulating suggestions from their instructors. Both were such a pleasure as well as generous with offers for further help and very respectful of our time and participation.

Jennifer Wilkov’s marketing course was phenomenal. She was very engaging and energetic.

Susan Breen is a brilliant instructor. More, Please!!

The “Art of Dialogue’ (Nicole Blades) and ‘Revision’ (Nancy Agabian) were very helpful in teaching new techniques as well as a refresher on already known techniques.

The Agent Panel … was very interesting as well.

The panel provided some additional insights into the world of publishing.

The memoir workshop was one of the best writers workshop I ever attended. The Instructor Dorian Fox was well prepared, very welcoming, and encouraging. I left feeling energized and much better equipped to continue writing.

My poetry writing workshop with Ben Berman, How a Poem Moves, was first-rate.

He has lit a creative fire in me.

    Thank You!
