AI is the next evolution of what’s available to authors, but it also raises unfamiliar questions about originality, ownership, and creative judgment. This conversation makes room for both its possibilities and its problems, so you can decide where, or whether, it belongs in your process.

On November 18, novelist and AI collaborator Aileen Marshall will show how writers can use AI as a brainstorming partner: one that can generate possibilities, challenge assumptions, and leave every creative decision in your hands.

Through practical examples, you’ll explore where AI helps, where it may fall short, and how legal and creative questions affect authors. You’ll leave with techniques you can test, principles for protecting your voice, and a sharper understanding of what makes human authorship irreplaceable.
