Writers Night Out Holiday Party December 12, 2018 Glitters with Jim Coogan’s Talk

Poinsettias, holiday decorations and multi-colored lights at the Cape Cod Community Center in Denis Port  provided a festive background for the December 12 Cape Cod Writers Center’s Writers Night Out.

The evening began with refreshments and social networking followed by a display by CCWC members with a display of their recent publications.

That was followed by an intriguing talk by long-time self-publishing guru, Jim Coogan, author of a dozen books –several for children — that have been selling well on Cape Cod for over a dozen years.

Jim’s secret? Interesting topics, authoritative research, good art work (some by Jim himself), financial planning  — and best of all his personable, non-greedy approach to booksellers and readers.
